April 27, 2021 Current Facility Stats
We currently do not have any active cases of COVID-19 for long-term care residents and employees.
We continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control, Local Health Department, and Texas Health and Human Services guidance in medically assessing and examining employees at the beginning and end of each shift. We are diligently monitoring and assessing residents and employees, following the disinfecting and housekeeping protocols, adhering to social distancing guidelines, and numerous other preventative measures. Residents have been assigned representatives to aid with communication to family members via Smartphones, tablets, and computers to help minimize feelings of social isolation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends who have lost loved ones due to COVID-19. As our nation and the world experience the impact made by the COVID-19 pandemic, rest assured we have implemented the best available precautions and have the appropriate supplies needed to care for your loved one. If you have questions or comments, please contact Dana Parker, Executive Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
April 27, 2021 Visitation Update
We are open for visitation, but please remember reservations are still required. We have included several details to keep in mind. However, due to the uncertain nature of COVID-19, please understand that our facility’s visitation status can change at any time due to our county’s COVID-19 positivity rate and/or an outbreak.
COVID-19 negative residents can have outdoor and indoor visits. We strongly encourage outdoor visitations, weather permitting and if the health of your loved one allows for such. Outdoor visits are limited to three guests at one time; indoor visits are limited to two guests at one time.
All residents (COVID-19 negative, unknown, and positive) can have end-of-life and compassionate care visits.
All visitors must wear a surgical mask when visiting – whether outdoors or indoors. Visitors must be able to pass screening questions and temperature checks. Also, visitors will undergo PPE and infection control training before each scheduled visit occurs. Each visit can last up to two hours.
Reservations are required for all visits with your loved ones. Please call 903-771-2000 to schedule your visit.
